Man Found Critically Injured in Marylebone – Police Launch Renewed Appeal
Detectives have stepped up the hunt after a man was found critically injured in Marylebone early Sunday. They have now released an image of a man they want to speak with over the brutal assault.
Unprovoked Attack Rocks Marylebone
At around 5:20am on Sunday, 19 August, police and London Ambulance rushed to Bulstrode Street, W1, where a 23-year-old Westminster resident was found unconscious.
The young man remains in a central London hospital in critical but stable condition. His next-of-kin have been informed.
Detectives Urge Witnesses to Step Forward
Detective Chief Inspector Christina Jessah from Westminster Borough said: “This was a completely unprovoked assault on a young man walking home after a night out. The level of injury caused will have a significant impact on the victim.”
She added, “I urge anyone who recognises the man in the CCTV image to do the right thing and contact us.”
No Arrests Yet – Police Enquiries Continue
So far, no arrests have been made. The investigation by 1 CID is ongoing.
