Homeless Pervert Martin Price Jailed for Child Sex Crimes
Martin Price, 42, a man with no fixed address, has been locked up for a string of sickening sex offences against children. The verdict came after a trial at Liverpool Crown Court, where Price faced eight serious charges.
Shocking Sexual Abuse Charges Laid Bare
Price was convicted of:
- Sexual assault on a child under 13
- Causing or inciting a child to engage in sexual activity
- Making indecent images of a child
- Causing a child to watch a sex act
- Engaging in sexual activity in the presence of a child
These horrific crimes targeted two vulnerable youngsters in Merseyside, leaving the local community shaken. The court heard damning evidence, resulting in a unanimous guilty verdict.
Six and a Half Years Behind Bars
On Friday, March 8, the judge slammed Price with a 6½-year prison sentence. He also received a 10-year Sexual Harm Prevention Order and a 10-year restraining order. Price must notify the authorities indefinitely, keeping him under close watch.
Police Praise Victims’ Bravery
“The behaviour displayed by Price was utterly appalling, and he deserves to be behind bars for several years,” said Detective Constable Alexandra Lawrence. She praised the victims for their courage in coming forward to report the crimes.
Despite Price’s claims of innocence, the jury saw through his lies and convicted him. DC Lawrence urged anyone affected by sexual abuse or aware of child exploitation to come forward and report it to the police. Specially trained officers stand ready to support victims with care and sensitivity.
