Hammer-Wielding Suspect on the Run: Police Hunt Satheesan Appu
Violent Attack Shakes East London
Detectives have issued a manhunt for Satheesan Appu, 42, accused of a brutal domestic assault with a hammer. The victim suffered serious facial injuries in the shocking attack.
Known Threat to Kill, Now Fugitive
Appu is also wanted for threatening to kill. Police say he frequents East Ham and Ilford but could be hiding anywhere in Newham or Redbridge. He’s believed to have no fixed address and may be sleeping rough.
Spot Him? Don’t Approach – Call Police
Described as an Asian man, 5ft 9in with black hair and a moustache, Appu may have shaved the moustache to evade capture. PC David Whaley urged the public: “We need your help to find Appu and bring him into custody. The victim remains very worried he’s still out there.”
