Tributes Pour In After Jolyon Wray Found Murdered in Ryde
Jolyon “Joe” Wray was discovered dead in his East Hill Road flat on Monday, June 13. The 46-year-old’s sudden death has shocked the local community.
Family Mourns “Heart of Gold”
Joe’s family paid emotional tribute to their beloved son, brother, and father. “Joe was our number one son, big brother to Jub, Corrine and Luke, and loving father to Violet,” they said. “He was a caring, honest, happy-go-lucky person with a heart of gold.”
“Tragically taken from us, he will be deeply missed but never forgotten. We are awaiting justice for our son.”
Daughter’s Heartbreaking Goodbye
Joe’s 14-year-old daughter Violet also shared her grief: “Dad, you were a good man with a golden heart, a funny sense of humour, a talented painter, hardworking and a loving father. I will miss you. I love you forever and always. Taken too soon.”
Woman Charged with Murder
Deborah Napier, 53, from Amazon Close, Basingstoke, appeared at Isle of Wight Magistrates’ Court charged with the murder of Jolyon Barry Wray. She has been remanded in custody pending further hearings.
