Southsea Shock: Couple Arrested After Man Found Dead in Street
A man has died and a Southsea couple are now in police custody, facing murder suspicions.
Early Morning Tragedy
Police were scrambled at 2.44am on Tuesday, August 10, after a man was discovered lying in the street. Paramedics from South Central Ambulance Service tried desperately to save him before rushing him to Queen Alexandra Hospital, where he was sadly pronounced dead.
Couple Arrested and Released on Bail
A police spokeswoman said: “As part of our enquiries, a 33-year-old woman and a 32-year-old man, both from Southsea, were arrested on suspicion of murder.”
She added: “They have both been released on conditional bail while our investigation continues.”
