Teenager Stabbed to Death in Shocking Shepherd’s Bush Murder
A brutal murder investigation is underway after an 18-year-old was fatally stabbed in Shepherd’s Bush. Police rushed to Uxbridge Road, W12, at 9.20pm on Wednesday, 26 June, after reports of a stabbing.
Emergency services, including London Ambulance and Air Ambulance, found the teen with a stab wound. Despite desperate efforts, he died at the scene.
Crime Scene Locked Down as Police Hunt Killer
The victim’s family is being informed, with formal identification and a post-mortem pending. A large crime scene remains cordoned off while detectives from the Homicide and Major Crime Command lead the inquiry alongside Hammersmith and Fulham police.
Detective Inspector Luke Wyllie said: “A young man’s life has been tragically cut short. Our thoughts are with his friends and family at this very difficult time.”
Extra Police on Streets with Section 60 Stop-and-Search
Extra officers and specialist units are patrolling to piece together what happened and reassure local residents. A Section 60 stop-and-search order is in place for Shepherd’s Bush and Notting Hill until the afternoon of Thursday, 27 June.
DI Wyllie urged the public: “If you witnessed anything or have information about those responsible, please contact police immediately.”
