Man Held Over Murder in Riverside Town
At around 7:50am on 6 March 2026, officers rushed to Phyllis Court Drive. A 44-year-old local man was arrested and is now in custody.
Heavy Police Presence as Investigation Unfolds
The victim’s identity is still unknown. Detectives have sealed off the scene and expect a strong police presence throughout the day.
Detective Inspector Rob Underhill said: “The investigation is still in early stages; however, an arrest has been made. We are not seeking anyone else in connection with the incident. There is no risk to the wider public.”
“Members of the public will see an increased police presence. We advise anyone with concerns to speak with uniformed officers.”
