Dog Attack Chaos at Maidstone’s Allington Locks

Police want your help after a dog allegedly went out of control in a busy public spot in Maidstone.

The drama unfolded at Allington Locks near Gibraltar Lane on Friday, 10 April 2020 at around 5pm.

A woman was strolling with her dog near the Boat House when a couple with two dogs entered the path. Suddenly, one of their dogs lunged and attacked her pet.

Serious Injuries to Woman and Dog

The victim’s dog suffered a nasty ear injury. The woman was hurt on her hand while trying to break up the fight.

Police Seek Couple and Witnesses

The attacking dogs were described as a Staffordshire Bull Terrier and a tan Spaniel or Cockapoo.

The woman dog-walker is white, about 5ft 8in, in her 40s, with dark blonde hair tied in a bun. She wore dark culottes and a dark T-shirt.

She was with a slim white man, around 5ft 6in, wearing a white T-shirt.
