Man Charged Over Southamptons Coleman Street Knife Attack

A man has been hit with attempted murder charges after a brutal stabbing in Southampton’s Coleman Street.

Victim Suffers Life-Threatening Injuries

The attack unfolded around 1pm on Friday, 18 November. A 19-year-old victim was left with life-threatening wounds but has since been discharged from hospital.

Roman Omari in Custody

Roman Omari, 18, from Queensway, Southampton, faces charges including attempted murder, possession of a knife, and violent disorder. He was remanded in custody and appeared at Southampton Magistrates’ Court on 23 November.

Additional Arrests Made

Police also arrested three other Southampton men, aged 18, 19, and 21, in connection with the incident. Investigations are ongoing as authorities piece together what sparked the violent episode.
