Two Teen Boys Arrested Over Bristol Murder
Two 15-year-old boys were arrested on suspicion of murder last night, Thursday 15 February, as police continue to investigate a fatal stabbing in Bristol.
Tragic Stabbing in St Phillips Area
Emergency services were called to West Street, St Phillips, on Wednesday evening after reports of a wounded boy. The victim, a young man with a stab wound to his neck, was found inside a property. Despite desperate attempts to save him, he died at the scene.
Attack Happened in Rawnsley Park, Easton
Detectives revealed the stabbing occurred in Rawnsley Park, Easton. While formal ID is pending, the victim’s family has already been informed.
Bristol Commander Supt Mark Runacres said: “The team investigating yesterday’s incident are working around the clock to bring those responsible to justice.
“Two 15-year-old boys were arrested this evening and are now in police custody for questioning.
“Our thoughts are with the victim’s family and loved ones during this very difficult time. Specialist family liaison officers have been assigned to support them and update them on developments.”
