Car Theft and Burglary Shocker in Bilborough!
A Volkswagen Golf was stolen right from outside a home on Glaisdale Road West, Bilborough, during a break-in in the early hours of Monday morning.
Thieves Swipe Bank Cards and More
Along with the car, bank cards were stolen. These were quickly used at a nearby petrol station, where crooks also made off with items from behind the counter.
Man Charged After Swift Police Action
Mark Woodland, 43, with no fixed address, has been hit with two burglary charges, theft of a motor vehicle, and fraud by false representation.
He appeared at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court yesterday and was remanded in custody.
Police Crack Down on Crime
“Burglaries of this nature are extremely distressing for victims and will always be thoroughly investigated,” said Detective Sergeant Andrew Buxton of Nottinghamshire Police. “I’m pleased we’ve charged a suspect and our investigation continues.”
