14 Years On, Police Plead for Clues in Daniel Ross Murder
Fourteen years after Daniel Ross was gunned down at a Kings Cross nightclub, police are urgently calling for witnesses to come forward. The 22-year-old was shot at close range on the dance floor of the Scala in Pentonville Road in the early hours of Sunday, 24 September 2006.

At around 3.45am, police and the London Ambulance Service rushed to the scene where roughly 800 clubbers were enjoying the night. Daniel was found with a gunshot wound and taken to hospital but tragically did not survive.
Detective Inspector Will Reynolds said: “Despite the passing of 14 years, Daniel Ross’ murder remains unsolved. I appeal directly to anyone who was there and hasn’t come forward yet — your information could lead to a critical breakthrough.”
£10,000 Reward for Info on Cold-Case Killer
The Metropolitan Police are dangling a £10,000 reward for any tip that leads to the identification, arrest, and conviction of Daniel’s killer.
Detective Inspector Reynolds: “No detail is too small. It’s never too late to do the right thing. We handle all information in the strictest confidence.”
Daniel’s devastated parents issued a heartfelt plea on the murder’s 14th anniversary:
“To anyone who knows anything about our son’s death, please examine your conscience and come forward. Nothing will bring Daniel back, but justice can still be done. To the person who did this, do the honourable thing and give yourself up.”
“We continue to mourn Daniel every day. The pain of losing him—and the silence surrounding his killer—is unbearable. We long for answers, and for those responsible to be held to account.”
