Teen Arrested After Alleged Sexual Assault in Sunbury
Police are hunting witnesses following a sexual assault reported in Sunbury on 8 May. Between 4.30pm and 5pm on Manor Lane, near Griffin Way, a teenage boy is accused of groping a teenage girl.
15-Year-Old Arrested and Released on Bail
Officers quickly arrested a 15-year-old lad close to the scene. He’s now on police bail and banned from returning to the area.

Detective Urges Witnesses to Speak Up
“This was clearly a distressing incident for the young victim and we commend her bravery in coming forward,” said Detective Constable Matt Webster.
“Given the time and place, people heading home from school or driving by may have seen something. We urge anyone with information to come forward to help our investigation.”
Detective Webster also reassured the public: “This appears to be an isolated incident. There is no wider risk to the public.”
