Two Teens Shot and Stabbed in Walthamstow Street Attack

Detectives are hunting for witnesses after a chilling shooting left two teenagers injured in Walthamstow. Police rushed to St James Street at 10.36pm on Sunday, 29 December, following reports of a gunshot victim.

18-Year-Old Stable, 17-Year-Old Critical

Officers, including armed units, found an 18-year-old man with a gunshot wound. He was rushed to an east London hospital by the London Ambulance Service and is now in stable condition. Nearby, a 17-year-old was discovered with both stab wounds and a gunshot injury. He remains in a critical state after being taken to hospital.

Police Seek Urgent Information Amid Active Investigation

Both teens are believed to have been attacked in the street. Crime scenes are still in place as Trident detectives lead the probe. No arrests have been made yet, and inquiries continue.

A Section 60 order is currently active across Waltham Forest until 4.06pm on 30 December, giving police extra powers to stop and search.
