Gun Gang Hunts Men in Broad Daylight on Wood Green High Road
Trident officers are hunting for leads after a chilling shooting spree on Wood Green High Road last Monday night.
Three Men Chased and Shot
At about 9.45pm on 13 July, a gang armed with a firearm chased three men along the busy high street. One man, 27, was shot in the shoulder but managed to escape with his two friends into a nearby shop for safety.
Shots were fired into the shop too, slightly injuring a staff member who luckily did not need hospital treatment. The suspects then fled the scene in a silver saloon car.
Police Appeal for Witnesses and Dashcam Footage
“This took place on a main road busy with traffic and pedestrians. It was extremely lucky no one else was hurt,” said DS Mark Attridge, leading the investigation.
“We urge anyone who saw the shooting or has dashcam footage of the suspects before or after the attack to come forward.”

The victim was treated and discharged from hospital. No arrests have been made and the motive remains unclear.
