Knife Drama in Brighton: Four Teens Arrested in Queens Park
Police swooped on Queens Park, Brighton, at around 1pm on Monday, 3 June, after reports of youths carrying knives. A swift search led officers to four local teenagers nearby.
Blades and Drugs: Teen Arrests Unfold
- A 15-year-old and two 16-year-olds were arrested. Two of them are suspected of carrying a knife in a public place.
- One 16-year-old faces allegations related to possession of a Class B drug.
- The fourth teen was arrested on suspicion of involvement in Class A drug supply but later released without charge.
Charges Laid, Bails Given
The two 16-year-olds, whose names are withheld for legal reasons, were charged Monday evening. One faces possession of a bladed article charge, while the other is charged with possession of a Class B drug. Both have been bailed ahead of their court dates.
The 15-year-old, also arrested for carrying a bladed article, has been bailed pending further investigations.
