Drugs Bust in Carlton: Crack and Heroin Seized in Huge Police Raid
Gedling’s specialist Operation Reacher Team teamed up with the Arnold Neighbourhood Policing Team to smash a suspected drug den in Honeywood Court, Carlton. Officers swooped with a Misuse of Drugs Act warrant in hand.
Crack, Heroin, and Cannabis Off the Streets
In the raid, cops found around 50 wraps of suspected crack cocaine and heroin, plus a stash of cannabis. The haul didn’t stop there — they also seized a knife, multiple phones, scales, deal bags, and other drug paraphernalia.
Two Arrested on Multiple Charges
A 25-year-old man and a 30-year-old woman were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A and B drugs. They also face charges for having an offensive weapon in a private place and improper importation of a Class B drug.
Operation Reacher Boss Vows to Keep Up Pressure
Sergeant James Carrington, head of the Gedling Operation Reacher Team, said: “This was another really good result as part of our focused fight against illegal drug supply in our communities. We’re listening to local concerns and are committed to tackling this issue which has devastating impacts.
“We work closely with partners like UK Border Force to hit drug suppliers hard. Our work won’t stop here – we urge the public to help us by reporting any drug dealing to get offenders off our streets.”
