Cyclist Charged After Brutal Attack on Pensioner in Gosport
Police have arrested and charged a 28-year-old man following a shocking assault on a pensioner in Gosport.
Gruesome Attack on Bury Road
On Sunday, September 25, at around 5:50pm, a 69-year-old man was pushed to the ground during a violent incident on the one-way system on Bury Road. The victim suffered a serious head injury and remains in hospital, receiving treatment at Queen Alexandra Hospital in Cosham.
Suspect in Custody
Duncan Snellgrove, 28, from Howe Road, has been charged with grievous bodily harm. He was remanded in custody ahead of his court appearance.
Court Appearance Scheduled
Snellgrove is set to face Portsmouth Magistrates Court on Wednesday, September 28.
