The tragedy unfolded at around 1.30am on Sunday (24 October) following a violent disturbance in Regency Court.
Suspect Charged and Held
Frankie Watson, 19, from Baker Street, Orsett, was arrested and is now being charged with two counts of murder, attempted murder, and possession of an offensive weapon. He is set to appear at Southend Magistrates’ Court today (Wednesday 27 October).
Others Released on Bail or Under Investigation
- Two men – aged 20 from Grays and 21 from South Ockendon – were also arrested on suspicion of murder but have been released on bail until 19 November.
- A 40-year-old man from Brentwood remains under investigation but has been released for now.
