Man Charged with Murder and Attempted Murder After Westcliff Stabbing
Police have charged a 31-year-old man from Enfield with murder, attempted murder, and aggravated burglary following a fatal stabbing in Westcliff.
Victim Dies After Early Morning Attack
The victim, 25-year-old Asqeri Spaho from Westcliff, tragically died from stab wounds after a disturbance at a Tintern Avenue address at around 4:25am on Thursday 12 December. A second man was also attacked and taken to hospital.
Three Men Facing Murder Charges
- A 22-year-old man from Highbury and a 31-year-old man from Upper Holloway are set to appear at Basildon Crown Court on 2 March, charged with murder, attempted murder, and aggravated burglary.
- A 31-year-old Tottenham man was arrested on suspicion of murder and drug possession but has been released on bail until 24 March.
- A 27-year-old man from Enfield was also arrested and bailed until 27 March on similar charges.
Manhunt Underway for Mitchell Harris
Police continue to search for 28-year-old Mitchell Harris, linked to London’s Highbury area, in connection with the incident.
