Manhunt Underway for Mark Noke’s Murder Suspect
Police are hunting a man connected to the brutal stabbing death of 64-year-old Mark Noke. Mark was found with fatal stab wounds at his home in Warburton Road, Thornhill, in the early hours of Saturday, February 25.
Who is on the Run?
The suspect, Leighton, is also wanted for breaching his prison licence linked to a knife possession conviction from last year. He has ties to Southampton and Gosport.
Police Urge Public to Help Find Leighton
“We want to speak to Leighton in connection with Mark’s death and urge him to come forward,” said Acting DCI Howard Broadribb.
“Anyone harbouring Leighton could be committing an offence and risk arrest. If you spot him, do not approach—call 999 immediately.”
“Officers have carried out numerous enquiries and are now appealing to the public for help. If you know his whereabouts, please contact us or Crimestoppers anonymously.”
“Extra patrols remain active in Thornhill following Mark’s tragic death.”

- Build: Slim
- Hair: Short blond
- Facial Hair: Moustache and goatee (may be clean-shaven)
