Four Teens Arrested After Brutal Knife Attack on 12-Year-Old Boy in Pitsea
Knife Assault Shocks Local Community
Police swooped on Pitsea today after a 12-year-old boy was viciously attacked with a knife. The shocking incident happened just after 1.55pm on Monday 24 August on Mayfair Avenue.
Victim Airlifted to Hospital
The young victim suffered a serious knife wound to his back and was airlifted to hospital. Thankfully, police say his injuries are not life-threatening.
Four Teen Suspects Held
Officers acted swiftly, arresting four teenagers — a girl and three boys, all aged 14 — on suspicion of grievous bodily harm. They remain in custody as detectives dig deeper into the shocking attack.
Police Urge Witnesses to Come Forward
Detective Inspector Stewart Eastbrook said: “This was a nasty incident on a young boy and our officers were on scene quickly to carry out enquiries and a search of the area.
“We believe those involved know each other and are piecing together what happened. There were many people nearby at the time, and we want to hear from anyone with information, mobile phone footage, or CCTV.”
“We understand this is alarming for local residents and urge anyone with concerns or info to speak with officers at the scene or on patrol.”
