Police Hunt Man After Two Knife-Point Robbery Attempts in West London
Police are urgently searching for 23-year-old Muridi Bahdon following two scary knife-point robberies in West London earlier this month. The first attack happened at Earls Court station on 1 July, and the second took place on a District Line train on 4 July.
Victims Threatened and Injured in Daylight Attacks
In the first case, the victim was approached by a man demanding his watch before lunging at him with a large knife. The terrified victim escaped by hiding behind a shop counter, forcing the suspect to flee. Just days later, another man was followed off a train and threatened with a knife, suffering cuts to his head, shoulders, and legs during the attack.
Detectives Release CCTV Images of Suspect from Shepherds Bush
Officers believe Muridi Bahdon, from Shepherds Bush, has vital information about the incidents. CCTV snaps of Bahdon have been made public as police urge anyone who knows where he is to get in touch immediately.
Detective Constable Steve Faulkner said: “These attacks are incredibly shocking, happening in broad daylight on busy Underground lines. It’s crucial we find Bahdon fast to keep the public safe. We advise people not to approach him, but to contact police with any details.”
Police Warn Public to Stay Alert and Safeguard Valuables
Travel passengers are warned to stay vigilant and keep watches and other valuables out of sight to avoid becoming targets. If you spot Muridi Bahdon or have any information, contact police by text, phone, or emergency services immediately.
