Bomb Scare Shuts Down Romford Magistrates' Court
A bomb scare has sparked chaos at Romford Magistrates’ Court, forcing a full evacuation and a massive emergency services response. The alarm went off just after 9am on Monday, sending shockwaves down Main Road.
Evacuations and Sniffer Dogs Sweep Area
The court and nearby buildings were quickly cleared as police brought in sniffer dogs to scour the scene for explosives. The scare started after a call came into the magistrates’ office, who immediately alerted the police.
Heavy Police Presence and Cordon in Place
A police cordon now surrounds the area, with officers and specialist units also spotted at Romford Town Hall just down the road. The scene remains tense as authorities continue their investigation.
