Bomb Scare Shuts Down Romford Magistrates' Court
Romford Magistrates’ Court was locked down this morning after a bomb scare sparked a major emergency response.
Emergency Services Swarm the Scene
The court and nearby buildings on Main Road were evacuated just after 9am on Monday. Police rushed in sniffer dogs to scan for explosives, turning the area into a lockdown zone.
Police and Specialists on High Alert
An initial suspicious call reportedly triggered the alert. Authorities quickly set up a cordon, with police, fire crews, and specialist units spotted at the Town Hall close by.
Investigation Underway
The Met Police have been approached for comment as the investigation continues.
