Scumbag Nathan Hobbs Jailed for Attacking Brave Gosport PCSO
A Gosport yob has been locked up for 26 weeks after violently assaulting a PCSO and committing multiple thefts in the town.
Nathan Hobbs Busted and Sent Down
Nathan James Hobbs, 29, of St Vincent Road, appeared at portsmouth/" title="Portsmouth" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Portsmouth Magistrates Court on Thursday 9 August. He pled guilty to assaulting a PCSO, stealing a bike, and shoplifting offences.
- 26 weeks in prison for assault causing actual bodily harm
- 2 weeks for bicycle theft (served concurrently)
- Two shoplifting offences admitted with no separate penalty
Violent Attack on PCSO
PC Fran Vasko, the investigating officer, revealed how the drama unfolded: “A PCSO in Gosport detained Hobbs, who was wanted for theft, on Tuesday 7 August. While the PCSO was calling for backup, Hobbs yanked away so violently he broke her middle finger.”
Justice For the PCSO
Hobbs later confessed to stealing a bike and shoplifting while in custody. PC Vasko added, “Policing always carries risks. We move towards danger, not away from it. But attacking an officer is plain unacceptable. This sentence sends a clear message that such behaviour won’t be tolerated. I hope it reassures the PCSO involved.”
