Man Stabbed in Broad Daylight Near Train Station – Hunt on for Two Teens
Shocking Afternoon Attack
On Friday, January 22, a 22-year-old man was brutally stabbed in the neck just after 3pm. The incident happened at the busy junction of Claremont Road and Cornwall Road, leaving the victim with potentially life-threatening injuries.
The two youths responsible took off running from Cornwall Road, dashing down Fratton Road towards the train station.
Witnesses Urgently Needed
Police believe several people nearby and a silver VW may have seen the attack. The victim was rushed to Queen Alexandra Hospital, where surgery is expected in the coming days.
Suspects Spotted – Police Descriptions Released
- Both attackers are white males, wearing black baseball caps featuring a white Nike logo and black trainers.
- One looks about 18, sporting a grey hoody with the hood up, a black puffer jacket, grey joggers, and a light-coloured face mask.
- The second is estimated between 16-18 years old, dressed in a black face mask, black hooded jacket, and black trousers.
Arrest Made as Investigation Continues
An 18-year-old man from Havant was arrested on Sunday, January 24, in connection with the stabbing. He is currently being questioned by officers.
