Second Suspect Charged Over Brutal Herne Bay Assault
A second suspect has been charged after a shocking assault rocked Herne Bay on the early hours of Sunday, March 3, 2024. The violent attack on High Street at around 3:30 am left a man and a woman injured and sent to hospital.
Two Victims Hospitalised, Now Released

Court Date Set for April 8
The latest suspect is scheduled to face a 123 appearance at Canterbury Crown Court on Monday, April 8. This follows the charging of a 29-year-old local man on March 5, who is accused of grievous bodily harm with intent and assault causing actual bodily harm. He remains in custody ahead of his court date.
A 21-year-old woman linked to the case has been released on bail as police continue their inquiries.
