Rwanda Horror: Man Arrested After 14 Bodies Found Buried in His Kitchen
A grisly discovery has rocked Kigali, Rwanda, after police arrested a 34-year-old man following the unearthing of more than 10 bodies buried right under his kitchen floor. The disturbing case came to light thanks to a joint operation between law enforcement and local media.
Serial Killer Targeted Vulnerable Victims
The suspect is believed to have lured victims from various bars to his rented home in Kigali’s Kicukiro suburb. Sources from the Rwanda Investigation Bureau (RIB) reveal the body count could be as high as 14. RIB spokesman Thierry Murangira said, “The final number will be determined by forensic investigations.”
The man first caught police attention in July over robbery and rape allegations. But lacking evidence, he was released on bail — until his chilling crimes were uncovered.
Confession Reveals Macabre Methods
During interrogation, the suspect confessed he studied notorious serial killers to perfect his deadly craft. He admitted dissolving some victims in acid, adding a sinister twist.
A RIB source said, “He stalked victims who were likely isolated, often prostitutes with no close family or friends.”
How the Killer Operated
- He lured victims, mostly prostitutes, to his home.
- Robbed them of phones and belongings.
- Strangled them to death.
- Buried their bodies in a pit dug under his kitchen floor.
Murangira confirmed the victims included both men and women, highlighting the brutal nature of the crimes. The investigation continues as forensic teams work to uncover the full extent of this horror.
