Sex Assault Shocker in Swindon Retail Park

Wiltshire Police are hunting witnesses after a 19-year-old woman was sexually assaulted in Swindon’s Greenbridge area late on Thursday night, 10 September.

Suspicious Car and Stranger Spotted Before Attack

The victim was walking alone at around 10.30pm near Greenbridge Retail Park, close to Greenbridge Road and Dorcan Way, when a car pulled up. A woman inside claimed to be a nurse and asked if she needed help. The victim declined, and the car drove off.

Moments later, a white male with dark hair, wearing jeans, a dark jumper, and black-and-white trainers, approached and walked with her before assaulting her near the Esso garage on Dorcan Way.

Police Appeal for Witnesses and Dashcam Footage

Det Insp Paul Hacker said: “We want to hear from anyone in the area who saw or heard anything suspicious that evening. If you saw a woman walking alone or with a man, please come forward.”

“We’re especially keen to speak to the nurse who stopped to check on the victim—if that was you, contact us immediately.”

The area is busy with major roads, so drivers might have dashcam footage that could help the investigation.
