Tragic Hit-and-Run: Girl Dies After Watling Street Crash

A young girl died two days after being hit while walking in Watling Street, near Meadow Way junction, on Saturday 10 July.

The collision happened shortly after 6.50pm. She was rushed to a London hospital but sadly passed away on the evening of Monday 12 July.

Driver Arrested Over Deadly Crash

A man in his 50s, driving a yellow Audi S1, was arrested before the girl’s death. Police suspect he caused serious injury by dangerous driving and was driving while impaired. He has since been bailed pending further investigation, with a return date set for Tuesday 3 August.

Police Seek Witnesses and Footage
