Six people have been charged with aggravated burglary following a violent break-in near Maidstone that left one man with life-changing injuries and another seriously wounded.
The incident took place at a property near Heath Road, Coxheath, on the evening of 23 December 2024, when Kent Police received emergency calls shortly after 8:10 p.m., reporting a group of intruders forcing entry into the address.
The individuals charged are:
- Keith Cranley, 41
- Darren Adams, 27
- D’Quan Samuel, 25 — all of Shipwrights Avenue, Chatham
- Ainsley Louis-Jean, 24, of Wiltshire Close, Chatham
- Solomon Howard, 23, of Meresborough Road, Gillingham
- Tyresse Johnson, 23, of Challenger Close, Rainham
All six have been remanded in custody by magistrates, with court proceedings to follow.
Further Enquiries Ongoing
Three additional individuals — two women aged 23 and 64, and a 21-year-old man — have been released on conditional bail as the investigation continues.
