15-Year-Old Charged with Murder After Fatal Old Kent Road Stabbing
Teen Arrested in Shocking London Murder
A 15-year-old boy has been charged with the murder of 17-year-old Yeray Sanchez-Morales. The arrest marks the sixth linked to the brutal stabbing on Old Kent Road, Kent.
The latest suspect was nabbed on Wednesday, 24 September, and appeared at Bromley Magistrates’ Court the next day. He was remanded in custody ahead of a hearing at the Old Bailey on Monday, 29 September.
Deadly Attack Outside McDonald’s
The tragedy unfolded on Wednesday, 27 August at 10:47pm outside a busy McDonald’s on Old Kent Road SE1. Police rushed to the scene after reports of a stabbing. Two 17-year-old boys were found with slash wounds.
Yeray was rushed to hospital in critical condition but sadly died on 3 September. The other victim has since been discharged.
Five Others Already Face Charges

- Two 17-year-olds arrested and charged 7 Sept
- Another 17-year-old arrested 10 Sept, charged 11 Sept
These suspects face charges including murder, grievous bodily harm, and possession of an offensive weapon. Four appeared at Bromley Magistrates’ Court, while the 15-year-old charged earlier is before the Old Bailey.
