Knife-Wielding Man Caught in Southend High Street Sting
Five Knives Found on Suspect
A man was arrested on Southend High Street on Friday after being caught with five knives. The daring stop was made possible thanks to Southend BID Rangers and Community Safety Officers, who teamed up with Southend Police and an off-duty cop.
Charges Pile Up Against the Offender
The man has now been charged and remanded to appear in court later this week. The CPS has approved charges including possession of an offensive weapon, shoplifting, and possession of class A drugs.
