Stoke Man Jailed for Rape and Secret Filming
A Stoke-on-Trent man is locked up for seven years and seven months after raping a woman and secretly filming her undressing.
Shocking Staffordshire Crimes Exposed
Jaroslaw Adamkowski, 42, faced Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court on Thursday, 15 January. The court heard he raped his victim in February last year. Worse, he secretly recorded her undressing twice in January — all without her knowing.
Police uncovered the chilling videos after seizing Adamkowski’s phone during their investigation.
Victim’s Bravery Brings Rapist to Justice
The courageous woman reported the horrific abuse to Staffordshire Police, who acted fast. Adamkowski was arrested and charged with rape plus two counts of voyeurism.
He pleaded guilty and was immediately slapped on the Sex Offenders Register for life.
“We’re determined to seek the toughest possible punishment in court for those guilty of these types of offences and to deliver positive outcomes for survivors,” said Detective Sergeant Razwana Nasheen from the Rape and Serious Sexual Offences Unit.
