Pervert Luke Wallace Jailed for 17 Years Over Shocking Child Abuse
Luke Wallace, 36, from Swanley, has been slammed with a 17-year prison sentence at Wood Green Crown Court for horrific child sex offences. The vile predator must also serve an extra four-year licence period after release and will be on the sex offenders’ register for life.
Grim Charges Expose Wallace’s Sick Crimes
Kent Police revealed Wallace faced multiple charges, including:
- Four counts of rape
- Four counts of inciting a child to engage in sexual activity
- Two counts of sexual assault
- Four counts of making and possessing indecent images of children
The jury cleared him on two further rape counts, but the verdict was grim. The abuse spanned up to four years against a single child victim.
Evidence and Denials: The Disturbing Investigation
The nightmare started on June 14, 2022, when the West Kent Child Protection Team swooped on Wallace, arresting him immediately. Police seized his phone, which contained vile indecent images of children. Wallace denied all allegations, bizarrely claiming someone else was to blame for the images on his device.
Detective Condemns Wallace’s ‘Horrific and Incalculable’ Damage
Detective Constable Sarah Ireland, who led the probe, slammed Wallace’s manipulative tactics, including threatening the child victim into silence. The abuse was only uncovered when the victim’s school raised the alarm.
“The damage Wallace has caused is both horrific and incalculable. Today’s lengthy sentence won’t erase the trauma this child endured, but it will stop Wallace from causing further harm,” Det Con Ireland said.
