CPS Condemns Attack, Calls for Heavy Sentence
Tariq Bostan from the Crown Prosecution Service blasted the attack: “This was an appalling act where Mr Wrigglesworth used his car as a weapon, ploughing into six men like bowling pins.”
He added, “It’s only sheer luck that nobody died that night. It could have been a complete tragedy.”
Bostan slammed Wrigglesworth’s refusal to take responsibility and warned, “He now faces a substantial prison sentence and plenty of time to reflect on the folly of his actions.”
