Victoria Carson Dies in Late-Night Collision
Victoria Carson, just 13 years old, lost her life in a tragic car collision on Longmore Avenue, Barnet, on Monday, 29 June at 9.35pm. She and another teenager were hit by a car, turning a quiet evening into a family’s worst nightmare.
Family Mourns ‘Beautiful, Generous’ Daughter
Her devastated parents, Gary and Roxanna Carson, released a heartfelt statement:
“Our family is devastated at the loss of our beautiful daughter, Victoria, who gave so much joy and delight to our lives. Victoria was loved dearly by so many of her friends, with whom she shared many interests, especially caring for cats and playing tennis. We will deeply miss Victoria’s smile, her laugh, and her energy, but our beautiful, generous daughter will forever remain in our hearts.”
Sister Witnessed Horror, Driver Arrested
Victoria’s 15-year-old sister was there when the crash happened. Miraculously, she escaped physical injury but was left shocked by the terrifying event.
The 41-year-old driver stopped immediately and was arrested at the scene on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. She was taken to a north London police station and has now been formally charged.
Police Appeal for Witnesses
