Teen Charged Over Brutal Reading Attack

17-Year-Old Arrested for Head Wound Assault

Thames Valley Police have charged a 17-year-old boy from Reading with a serious assault.

He faces one count of Section 18 – wounding with intent, following a violent incident outside the Premier Store in Broad Street Mall on Sunday (8 July).

Victim Punched and Knocked Unconscious

The 26-year-old victim was hit hard in the head, leaving him unconscious. He remains in hospital but is now in a stable condition.

Teen Held on Custody, Next Court Date Set

After appearing at Reading Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday (10 July), the boy was remanded in custody. He is due to appear at Reading Crown Court on 13 August.
