Man Stabbed Outside Horsham Nightspot – Suspect Busted
Violent Scene Outside Mungo’s Bar
Chaos erupted in Horsham in the early hours of Saturday, 21 December. A 37-year-old man was rushed to hospital with stab wounds after a violent altercation outside Mungo’s Bar on Park Place. Thankfully, he has since been treated and discharged. Police quickly arrived, arrested a suspect, and recovered the weapon nearby.
Two Men Arrested – One Charged With Serious Offences
Santon Dhar, 18, from Ifield Road, Crawley, faces a raft of charges including grievous bodily harm, possession of a bladed article in public, and cannabis possession. He’s been remanded in custody and will appear at Lewes Crown Court on Monday, 20 January.
Meanwhile, a 22-year-old man from Southwark, London, was also arrested on suspicion of attempting grievous bodily harm. He’s now on conditional bail as the investigation continues.
