From the moment the emergency call came in, police worked around the clock, combing through CCTV and gathering evidence. Footage showed a car speeding along the A41 then stopping suddenly, with the victims chased into the underpass.
Within seconds, the attackers fired a homemade slam gun, hitting the boy in the back and leaving him paralysed.

Louis Clarke Jailed for Life
Today (24 November), 19-year-old Louis Clarke—who was 17 at the time and from Birmingham’s 1 area—was sentenced to life imprisonment for attempted murder and firearm possession. He will serve a minimum of 15 years behind bars.
Clarke joins three other young men, previously jailed in October 2022, for the brutal attack that changed a boy’s life forever.
