Teen Trio Guilty of Murder in Brutal Bromley Attack

Two teenagers have been found guilty of murder following a savage, revenge-fuelled attack in Bromley. Alfie Kibble, 18, and a 17-year-old—whose identity remains secret due to legal reasons—were convicted on August 30 for killing 21-year-old Gabriel Petrov Stoyanov. A 15-year-old was also found guilty, but of manslaughter. Sentencing is due in six weeks.

Revenge Attack Turns Deadly After Night Out

The brutal incident happened on November 4, 2022, after a clash on a bus between Gabriel and the three teenagers. CCTV footage shows Gabriel, annoyed, flicking one teen’s ear, sparking rising tensions. When Gabriel and a friend got off the bus on Rangefield Road, the trio armed themselves and lay in wait.

Armed with a knife, a heavy motorbike chain, and a bottle, the teens ambushed Gabriel outside a takeaway shop. The 17-year-old fatally stabbed him in the chest, puncturing his lung. The attackers then fled the scene. Despite emergency efforts, Gabriel died the following day.

Police Praise CCTV Breakthrough in Tough Case

Detective Chief Inspector Kelly Allen praised her team’s tireless work combing through CCTV footage to pin down the attackers. She said: “It’s shocking that boys so young could carry out such a targeted and deadly assault on a defenceless victim.”

The prosecution said the brutal attack was driven by petty revenge and fuelled by alcohol.

Family Speak Out After Guilty Verdicts

Gabriel’s family expressed heartbreak but relief following the convictions. They said: “We are indescribably pained to have lost Gabriel in such a senseless and unnecessary way. He will always be remembered and cherished. Though this process has been traumatic, we are thankful that justice has been served.”
