BBC Launches Big Walk Series Across Northern Ireland
Walking fever is sweeping Northern Ireland as locals rediscover the great outdoors. Now, BBC Northern Ireland is stepping in to spotlight the best walking spots with a brand-new series, The Big Walk.
Hit the Highways and Byways with BBC Stars
Over the next eight weeks, your favourite BBC Radio Ulster and BBC Sounds presenters will hit the trails across all six counties. The series kicks off on Sunday, May 29 at 6.30pm with Declan Harvey and Lynette Fay wandering around scenic Florence Court in County Fermanagh.
“We’re delighted to be getting out and about and meeting everyone again after the past couple of years. Most of us are now more appreciative of the beautiful scenery on our doorstep, so we’d like to come along and explore it with you,” said Declan Harvey.
Share Your Favourite Walk – Get a Presenter to Join You!
Lynette Fay wants to hear from you: “Get in touch – tell us about your favourite walk, what you love about it, and why it’s worth a visit. Your favourite BBC Radio Ulster and BBC Radio Foyle presenter could be on their way to join you for a stroll.”
