Third Man Nabbed in N19 Murder Probe
Sichem Mangituka-Mpelo, 20, from Holloway, was arrested on Monday 23 August and charged with murder. He’s set to appear at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, 25 August.
Two Others Already in the Dock
- Robel Michael, 20, of no fixed address, was arrested on 4 August and charged with murder. He appeared at the Old Bailey on 9 August.
- Jaden McGibbon, 20, of Warltersville Road, N19, was charged on 13 June and appeared at the Old Bailey on 16 June.
Both men are next due back at the Old Bailey on Wednesday, 1 September.
Separate Weapon Charge Not Linked
A 19-year-old appeared at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court on 10 June, charged with possession of an offensive weapon. Police say this charge is unrelated to the murder case.
Shots Fired in Hornsey Rise Gardens
The investigation began after reports of gunfire at 4:20pm on Tuesday 8 June in Hornsey Rise Gardens, N19.
