Camden Drug Kingpin Brothers Locked Up for Years
Three Moalin brothers from Camden have been handed hefty jail terms for running a massive Class A drug empire. The Met’s Specialist Crime detectives smashed their operation, which flooded the streets with heroin and crack cocaine.
Sentences Reveal Scale of Camden Drug Crime
- Ayub Moalin, 27 – 8 years 9 months
- Adam Moalin, 26 – 6 years 9 months
- Anwer Moalin, 23 – 11 years
All three hail from Maitland Park Villas in Camden.
Met Detective Condemns Ruthless Operation
Detective Sergeant Ollie Wright said: “The sentences reflect the seriousness of their crimes. The Met will always go after organised criminals who spread misery in our city.
“These brothers ran a ruthless, highly profitable drug ring targeting the vulnerable for months. They’ve left a trail of destruction in the community and should be ashamed.
“There is a clear link between drug dealing and street violence. We are committed to bringing offenders like this to justice.”
The “Jeremy” Drug Line – A Massive Camden Supply Network
The trio controlled the “Jeremy” drugs line, supplying Class A drugs to more than 1,000 customers over ten months. They blasted out over 11,000 bulk messages, pushing around 5.3kg of heroin and 1.72kg of crack cocaine.
The crackdown began after police were injured when a vehicle hired by Adam Moalin crashed into an officer. An abandoned phone linked to the “Jeremy” line and Anwer Moalin’s phone were found in the car, sparking surveillance and investigation.
During their drug run, the brothers exploited children and vulnerable people with disabilities to run their dirty business. Adam and Ayub led the ring, with younger brother Anwer playing a key role under their orders.
They were arrested in June 2021 and later convicted of conspiracy to supply Class A drugs. Justice has finally caught up with the Camden trio.
