Sevenoaks Knife Gang Raid: Three Held in Police Firearms and Drugs Sweep
Kent Police have launched a major investigation after a terrifying knife attack in Sevenoaks. On the night of Sunday, August 28, 2022, a gang of men armed with knives broke into a house near Bradbourne Vale Road. They stole money and multiple mobile phones.
One victim inside was brutally assaulted, left with nasty cuts to his hands and face.
First Arrest Made: Brixton Man Charged
Kailum Dennis, 24, from Lyham Road, Brixton, was arrested on Wednesday, August 31, following a probe led by the Chief Constable’s Crime Squad. He now faces a slew of charges including aggravated burglary, intent to cause grievous bodily harm, possession of an imitation firearm with intent to cause unlawful violence, and possession of an offensive weapon.
Dennis appeared at Medway Magistrates’ Court on Friday, September 2, where he was remanded in custody.
Firearms and Drugs Bust in Lewisham
Just days later, police executed a search warrant on Monday, September 5, at an address in Lewisham.
- Two suspected firearms found
- Nearly 300 wraps of crack cocaine seized
Two men from Lewisham and Stratford – Benjamin Rodriges, 19, of Gurney Road, Stratford, and Ismail Cassoma, 21, of Blessington Road, Lewisham – were arrested and slapped with multiple charges:
- Possession of an offensive weapon
- Possession of a firearm
- Two counts of possession of an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence
- Grievous bodily harm with intent
- Possession with intent to supply Class A drugs
Third Arrest: Another Lewisham Man Nabbed
Delcio Paulo, 19, also from Lewisham’s Blessington Road, was charged with possession of an imitation firearm intending to instil fear, possession of a firearm, and possession with intent to supply Class A drugs.
All three men have been remanded in custody and are due back at Medway Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, September 7.
