Three Charged in Murder of Kacey Boothe After E17 Shooting
Arrests Made in Forest Rise Shooting
Police have charged three men following the fatal shooting of 25-year-old Kacey Boothe in Forest Rise, E17. Kacey was rushed to hospital but died from gunshot wounds to the neck and chest.
Who’s Been Charged?
- Ka-Amni Brightly-Donaldson, 22, from High Street, EN3, was arrested on 12 October. He faces charges of conspiracy to murder Kacey Boothe, possession of a firearm, and possession of ammunition. He appeared at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court on 13 October and was remanded in custody. He will next appear at the Old Bailey on 10 November.
- Jeffrey Gyimah, 20, of Queensbridge Road, E8, was arrested on 13 October. Charged with murder and unlawful possession of a firearm and ammunition, he was remanded in custody to appear at the Old Bailey on 18 October.
- Kammar Henry-Richards, 24, from Cambrian Road, E10, was arrested on 16 October. Charged with murder on 17 October, he will face Willesden Magistrates’ Court on 18 October.
What Happened?
Officers were called shortly before 9.30pm on Saturday, 13 August after reports of gunshots heard in Forest Rise. Kacey Boothe had already been taken to hospital in a private vehicle when police arrived. Despite urgent medical care, Kacey tragically died from his injuries.
Investigation Ongoing
Detectives from the Met’s Specialist Crime North are continuing their probe into the incident. No further details have been released at this time.
