Three Men Jailed for Using Teens in Derby County Lines Drugs Ring
Three men have been locked up for running a brutal county lines drug operation in Derby that exploited vulnerable teenagers as street dealers. The gang, dubbed “The American D,” operated between December 2022 and July 2023 in the Stockbrook and Normanton areas.
Teens Forced to Peddle Heroin and Crack Cocaine
Nickai Pearman, Kani Dilworth-Stovall, and Kwame Wolffe controlled the drug line. They coerced two teenagers, aged 15 and 16, into supplying heroin and crack cocaine across Derby. The trio organised taxis and directed every move of their young dealers.
Police Crack Down After Drugs and Cash Seized
The investigation kicked off in March 2023 with a raid in Normanton. Police found 45 wraps of crack cocaine and 38 wraps of heroin. The two teenagers caught were confirmed to be working for “The American D.”
Warrants throughout December 2022, March 2023, and July 2023 led to arrests and seizures of class A drugs, weapons, and cash. In July, one teen went missing before returning with messages exposing the gang’s control.
