Man Found Dead in Castle Street Car Park Sparks Murder Probe
Kent Police were called to a Castle Street car park at 1.44pm on Monday 10 April 2023 after concerns for a man’s welfare.
Victim Identified as Guy Malbec, 51
Officers discovered Guy Malbec, 51, with serious injuries. Sadly, he was confirmed dead at the scene.
Three Charged with Murder
The Crown Prosecution Service has charged three men in connection with the killing:
- Gavin Houghton, 49, of Old Dover Road, Canterbury
- Airidas Sakalauskas, 21, of Old Dover Road, Canterbury
- Sobantu Sibanda, 27, of Albert Street, Whitstable
Suspects in Custody Ahead of Court Appearance
All three remain in custody and are set to appear at Folkestone Magistrates’ Court on Thursday 14 April.
