Surrey Police Seek Help Identifying Three Men Over Brutal Guildford Attack
Surrey Police want to speak to three men caught on camera in connection with a vicious assault in Guildford back in September 2018. The attack happened around 3am on Tuesday, 11 September in Woodbridge Road.
One Punch Left Victim with Metal Plate in Jaw
The victim was walking home after a night out when he was suddenly punched in the face by the trio. The blow was so severe it required surgery to insert a metal plate in his jaw. PC Kieran Coffey said:
“This footage shows how just one punch can cause serious injury and have devastating consequences.”

Officers are urging anyone with information to come forward. You can call Surrey Police on 101. This isn’t the first appeal – CCTV images of the suspects were released back in November 2018 but yielded no leads.
All investigative avenues have been explored, but the attack remains unsolved. Police say releasing the video now was a tough decision due to the impact on the victim, but hope it will finally bring justice after eight months.
